Classical musical presentations opened various panels throughout the two days of the historic Schiller Institute Conference, “A New Paradigm for the Survival of Civilization”, and on Saturday evening, organizers presented this Musikabend, or “Musical Evening” to the great delight of all the conference attendees. The profound impact of the concert, and the urgency of understanding Schiller’s idea that the “Pathway to Freedom is Through Beauty” deepened the commitment of many, to not only stop the impending world war, but to join in creating the needed Renaissance.
